Name: Southern Grove Multi-Family Complex
Client: Finlay Properties, Owner/Developer

Completed: 2002

SEI’s first residential multi-family development. SEI worked closely with the Owner/Developer in designing
all aspects of project. Project was unique because of its environmentally sensitive location. Much effort was
expended in maintaining the existing environment, while adhering to Owner’s budget and time constraints.

Name: Harvest Dome Church – Atlantic Blvd.
Client: RJ Washington, Pastor
Engineer: Agee, Vorpe & Associates, Inc.
Completed: 2002

SEI’s largest parking facility up this point in time. SEI provided Owner with design and construction
experience. SEI value engineered project in order to minimize quantity of import fill required for project, by
using latest industry software. SEI installed major drainage items on this project including up to 72” RCP as
well as sanitary lift station and water connections.

Name: Palencia Residential Subdivisions
Client: Marshall Creek – Owner/Developer
Engineer: Prosser Hallock, Inc.
Completed: 2002

Premier residential Master Development of which SEI ended up constructing 5 different residential
subdivisions over a 3 year period. Values in some areas exceeded $1M USD per lot. Project was adjacent to
environmentally sensitive wetlands, marshes and St. Johns River. SEI worked closely with Owner in order to
minimize construction impact to existing environment. SEI performed complete sitework and underground
utilities for operational residential subdivision. Master lift stations were installed as well.

Name: Walmart Supercenter – Atlantic Blvd.
Client: Target Contracting, Inc.
Engineer: CPH, Inc.
Completed: 2003

SEI’s contracted with developer for civil construction for largest retailer in the world (Walmart). Mass
earthwork included excavation, loading, hauling and placing over 100,000 cubic yards of fill material in
under 30 days. Major drainage included 12” to 72” RCP along with an approx. additional 17,000 linear feet
of pipe well as grading and paving over 30 acres of asphalt, base & sub base construction.

Name: Orange Park Residential Subdivisions
Client: Matovina & Company
Engineer: William Hood & Assoc., Taylor & White, Inc., J. Lucas & Assoc., Inc.
Completed: 2004

4 single family residential subdivisions constructed simultaneously for the same Owner/Developer. SEI was
faced with challenging site conditions on all the work. Excessive unsuitable materials were encountered
on these projects. However with superior technical knowledge of handling difficult soils, SEI was able to
complete the projects in a timely manner. Several hundred completed single family lots we constructed as
part of this work.

Name: Arlington Multi-Family Residential Development
Client: DR Horton – Largest Homebuilder in the US
Engineer: King Engineering, Inc.
Completed: 2005

One of many multi-family residential developments constructed successfully by SEI. This project included
earthwork, grading, water, sewer, storm, grading, paving and substantial concrete work for the construction
of over 500 units in a older neighborhood. The Owner/Developer was the US’s largest homebuilder at the
time of construction. The Owner chose SEI as its main civil contractor despite SEI higher than average pricing
because of SEI’s excellent reputation.

Name: Weston Ranch Residential Subdivision

SEI was chosen for this single family residential development project because of the unique skills and
experience of the company. The project consisted of mass earthwork phased out over several months in
order to install polyethylene (HDPE) pond liners for the complex drainage system of the project. The project
was located adjacent to protected wetland and therefore was quite challenging in a sense that very few firm
shad the ability or knowledge to complete this project.

Name: Jacksonville Ranch Club
Client: Florida Land and Ranches, Inc.

Completed: 2006

In terms of geography, this is the largest project constructed by SEI. The project consisted of two separate
phases encompassing over 1,000 acres of land in north Jacksonville. Over 1 million cubic yards of earth was
excavated, hauled, placed, and compacted for this project. This was SEI’s first project to use GPS technology
for grading of earth. Over $7 million USD was invested in GPS technology, starting with this project. Over 5
miles of pipe was installed as well extensive grading and paving operations.

Over 5,000 residential lots were constructed by SEI as part of the Owner’s Master Development Plan for the
North Florida Region. Activities included major & minor earthwork, grading of earth, water and fire mains
& appurtenances, sanitary sewer systems, limerock base for roadways, concrete curb gutter and sidewalks,
asphalt paving and striping.

Project consisted of master parking facilities for world’s largest retailer (Walmart) as well as other major
department stores. Major drainage as well as looped water system and lift station was installed for the
project. Outparcels were also constructed for the Owner as well as top quality light duty and heavy duty
paving of over 30 acres of parking area.
